Cloud Architect

Role Overview

Cloud FinOps Architect (100% Remote) to design, implement, and scale cloud financial management frameworks across a complex multi-cloud ecosystem. You’ll align cloud cost optimization with business value while partnering with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to influence cost-aware architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve scalable FinOps architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Create cloud cost optimization strategies tied to business objectives
• Identify, lead, and drive cost-saving initiatives across multi-cloud platforms
• Partner with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to build cost-efficient architectures
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting for cloud spend visibility
• Establish and promote FinOps best practices and governance models

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud architecture
• Experience with FinOps and/or cloud cost optimization
• Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, including billing models
• Hands-on experience with Flexera One Cloud Cost Optimization
• Strong scripting/automation skills: Python, Terraform, PowerShell
• Ability to design and implement cost-efficient cloud architectures

Preferred Qualifications

• FinOps Certified Practitioner or FinOps Engineer certification
• Experience optimizing costs in Kubernetes environments
• Familiarity with cloud observability and cost monitoring tools
• Experience working in multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments
