Cloud Architect

Role Overview

Join a team as a Cloud Architect (Contractor, Remote). You will design, implement, and optimize resilient, scalable, and secure cloud environments for business applications across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategy and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Automate deployments using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads
• Ensure security, compliance, and high availability across cloud environments
• Provide guidance on cloud best practices and mentor engineering teams
• Conduct ongoing monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

• Proven expertise architecting solutions on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure design and management
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation
• Hands-on Kubernetes deployment and operations experience
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures
• Familiarity with DevOps toolchains and CI/CD pipelines
