Cloud Architect

Role Overview

Cloud Architect (Azure Architect) for a fully remote opportunity with a leading healthcare organization. You will design, build, and govern mission-critical Azure cloud architectures and help drive their Azure strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable, secure Azure architectures for enterprise healthcare environments
• Lead and support cloud migrations, including Epic EHR transitions
• Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM
• Conduct architecture reviews and mentor engineering teams
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align cloud strategy to business goals
• Drive security, compliance, and FinOps best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Azure architecture experience in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in core Azure services, including:
  • AKS
  • Azure DevOps
  • Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
  • Azure Networking
  • Azure Monitor
• Strong IaC skills (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM)
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Self-directed and effective working in distributed remote teams

Nice-to-Haves

• Epic EHR migration experience (highly desirable)
• Azure certifications preferred, such as AZ-305 or AZ-104 (or equivalent)

Compensation & Benefits

• $130,000 – $170,000 base salary (DOE)
