About the role

Role Overview

Cloud Architect for a fully remote team at a leading MSP. You will design and deliver enterprise cloud solutions and guide cloud architecture strategy across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud (including hybrid environments), with a focus on security, governance, cost optimization, and AI adoption.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver enterprise cloud architectures across Azure/AWS/Google Cloud and hybrid environments
Provide strategic guidance on:
- Cloud architecture and best practices
- Security, governance, and compliance
- Cost optimization
- AI adoption/readiness
Lead cloud migration, transformation, and modernization programs
Architect secure, scalable, resilient solutions, including:
- Disaster Recovery (DR)
- Business Continuity (BC)
Mentor engineers/architects, lead technical reviews, and act as a trusted advisor in client engagements
Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to cloud strategy and innovation

Requirements

Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud
Strong expertise in cloud architecture, including security, networking, identity, cost optimization, and hybrid environments
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD plus automation and cloud-native technologies
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, scripting, and enterprise infrastructure
Experience leading cloud migrations and architecture reviews
Understanding of enterprise AI, governance, compliance, and data readiness principles
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

Familiarity with enterprise AI governance and data readiness at scale
Experience spanning modernization and transformation programs in complex hybrid estates
