Cloud Architect – AWS

Role Overview

You will design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The Cloud Architect will lead enterprise architecture, cloud migration, automation, and secure infrastructure design for long-term client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures
• Lead cloud migration and modernization programs to AWS
• Define enterprise-grade cloud architecture patterns and standards
• Architect network infrastructure including VPC, Transit Gateway, and Direct Connect
• Design IAM roles, policies, and security controls
• Build automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and CloudFormation
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using AWS-native and third-party tools
• Implement containerized solutions using EKS, ECS, and Fargate
• Optimize cost, performance, and scalability across AWS environments
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability (e.g., CloudWatch, CloudTrail)

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud architecture
• 5+ years hands-on AWS experience in enterprise environments
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (required)
• Strong experience with:
  • EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS
  • VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudFront
  • EKS, ECS, Fargate
  • CloudWatch, CloudTrail
• Experience with Terraform and CI/CD tooling
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud design patterns
