About the role
Role: Cloud Architect
Design and architect complex, secure, and scalable Oracle EPM Cloud solutions aligned with business objectives—ensuring architectural consistency, performance, reliability, and security.
Responsibilities
- Architect and standardize EPM Cloud solutions using best practices, maximizing operational efficiency.
- Perform deep dives into financial domains to understand business complexities and translate them into technical needs.
- Lead map-gap discussions with business users; document solution alternatives and recommend approaches that minimize customizations and support long-term sustainability.
- Streamline business processes using Oracle Financials and related EPM Cloud modules.
- Develop and deliver presentations, workshops, and proofs of concept to show strategic/financial value to stakeholders.
- Lead delivery of end-to-end EPBCS solutions (planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting).
- Design and implement financial models, reports, and dashboards based on requirements.
- Configure and enhance EPBCS modules (Workforce Planning, Capital Asset Planning, Financials, Projects).
- Optimize EPM application performance for scalability and robustness.
- Create functional/technical specifications, test plans, and scripts.
- Collaborate with finance, IT/DT, partner resources, and cross-functional global teams to drive consensus.
- Manage EPM application security, user provisioning, and integrations with IDCS/LDAP.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience with Oracle EPM solutions, including: EPBCS/PBCS, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, ARCS, FCCS.
- Proficiency with calculation scripts, Groovy scripting, REST API integration, and EPM-Automate.
- Expertise in data integration/automation using Data Management, EPM Agent, and ETL solutions.
- Experience migrating on-premises Hyperion solutions to Oracle Cloud (PBCS/EPBCS, ARCS, FCCS).
- Deep knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud infrastructure, security, and administration.
- Strong ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.
- Proven communication and leadership skills.

- Hands-on experience across additional Oracle EPM Cloud modules and enterprise integration patterns (implied by breadth of tooling and responsibilities).
