Role Overview

Cloud Architect (Contract) — Remote (10–40 hrs/week)

Responsibilities

• Review and assess cloud infrastructure designs, recommending improvements and best practices
• Create and refine architecture documentation for robust, scalable, and secure environments
• Use Kubernetes expertise to improve container orchestration, deployment, and scaling strategies
• Develop automation scripts to streamline cloud operations, integrations, and monitoring
• Apply real-world cloud infrastructure scenarios to support AI-related understanding in this domain
• Identify and resolve potential security or compliance risks in cloud environments

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise designing and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Proficient scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Deep understanding of cloud security, networking, and scalability concepts
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely

Contract & Compensation

• Contract role with compensation listed as $30–$80/hour (posting also references $80/hr)
• Remote; 10–40 hrs/week
