About the role

Role Overview

Client Project Manager Ops (Central) based in the United States. Fully remote, supporting clients in the Central Time Zone. You will manage high-impact projects for complex enterprise clients in a leading HR technology environment, acting as a key partner between customers and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute critical projects for large, complex clients, delivering against objectives, timelines, and requirements
  • Define scope, create project plans, monitor progress, and communicate updates to internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Partner with Client Services, Account Management, Sales, and internal product teams to identify challenges and develop solutions
  • Understand client business needs and recommend solutions using HR, payroll, and workforce management technologies
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to set clear responsibilities, track milestones, and proactively manage risks
  • Lead client meetings and provide project updates, including support for executive-level stakeholder communication
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, product enhancements, and operational improvements based on client feedback
  • Gather client insights to advocate for client needs and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support quarterly business reviews (QBRs) focused on satisfaction, retention, and growth
  • Stay current on HR technology, payroll, benefits, and workforce management trends to guide clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5–7 years of experience in project management, technical account management, client services, or a similar customer-facing role
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Strong project planning, organizational, and time management skills with high attention to detail
  • Enterprise client and executive stakeholder experience
  • Highly preferred: strong understanding of HR technology, payroll systems, workforce management solutions, or HCM platforms
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis and reporting)
  • Ability to understand technical concepts, troubleshoot operational challenges, and translate business needs into actions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority

  • Experience with product training, instructional design, or client enablement
