Client Program Specialist

Role Overview

Client Program Specialist (CPS) in Picarro’s Customer Success organization. You support managed-service programs for gas distribution utilities using Advanced Mobile Leak Detection (AMLD) technology. The role serves as the operational day-to-day point of contact for service providers and helps maintain program performance through reporting, QA/QC, and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Act as the service provider’s primary day-to-day point of contact at Picarro, coordinating schedules, deliverables, and issue resolution across multiple concurrent engagements.
• Track program status, risks, and dependencies; flag issues and escalate to the Client Program Manager with recommended next steps.
• Run and maintain reports and dashboards; perform QA/QC on operational data before customer delivery.
• Analyze operational/performance data to identify trends and risks; communicate findings with clear updates to the Client Program Manager and customers.
• Provide first-line software support to internal and customer users of Picarro platforms; escalate complex issues.
• Coordinate with service providers, customer contacts, and internal teams to keep programs on track; support customer-facing updates and reviews.
• Maintain program documentation (manuals, troubleshooting guides) and contribute to workflow/process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, analytics, operations, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in data analysis, project coordination, or operations (internships/co-ops/significant academic project work accepted).
• Strong ability to work with large, complex datasets.
• High attention to detail and strong documentation habits.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, especially advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation).
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable with external service providers and customers.
• Ability to manage multiple shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in natural gas, utility, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
• Familiarity with AMLD, field data collection, or technology deployment programs.
• Experience with data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with GIS tools/systems (e.g., ESRI, QGIS).
• Experience coordinating with external vendors/service providers.
