About the role

Role Overview

The Client Engagement Manager is the primary post-sales delivery leader and client liaison for Monotype. You will align delivery with client expectations, help drive commercial outcomes, and identify growth opportunities, partnering closely with Operations Specialists and reporting to the Director, Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery leadership (client-facing): Lead and participate in discovery interviews, compliance assessments, and font asset audits to ensure high-quality implementation.
  • Commercial accountability: Own the financial health of an account portfolio, including margin, scope changes, change orders, and revenue forecast accuracy.
  • Strategic partnership: Co-lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with Sales; support account planning and coordinate executive engagement.
  • Delivery coordination: Oversee delivery across multiple customers and concurrent workstreams, manage escalations, and ensure quality aligned to internal SLAs.
  • Sales bridge (pre-sales to delivery): Partner with Sales on discovery and scoping; contribute to Statements of Work (SOWs) and ensure services sold are realistic and deliverable.
  • Growth & retention: Maintain client relationships to uncover expansion opportunities; collaborate with Sales on renewals and upsell discussions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in client delivery, ideally in a professional services environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience (or mentoring).
  • Strong client relationship management, including running QBRs and navigating escalations.
  • Experience coordinating multi-workstream (multi-pillar) delivery with on-time, high-quality outcomes.
  • Excellent presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with creative services, brand identity workflows, or digital asset management.

Travel

  • Expected to travel within Europe/US from time to time.

Compensation

  • $130,000 - $140,000 annual base salary (external candidates), plus a corporate bonus.
