Role Overview

Cleaning Assistant (Afternoon/Evening)

• Full-time, permanent position in Southport, MB
• Reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor
• Works Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Clean all indoor facilities, including classrooms, hangars, and offices
• Clean shared spaces and high-touch points
• Dust surfaces and vacuum carpets/rugs/furniture
• Sweep, mop, and polish floors
• Sanitize washrooms
• Remove and sort garbage and recycling
• Use and store cleaning items properly; replenish paper supplies
• Perform work in compliance with health and safety standards and company policies

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable (training provided)
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and products
• Punctual, reliable, trustworthy; able to manage time effectively
• Detail-oriented; able to work independently and in a team
• Ability to bend and lift (up to 50 lbs)
• Eligible to obtain an Enhanced Reliability Clearance (Canadian Industrial Security Directorate)
