Chief of Staff

Role Overview

Chief of Staff to the Chief Business Officer (CBO) at a high-growth, multi-product travel and fintech platform. This is a strategic, cross-functional seat at the center of commercial strategy—turning the CBO’s priorities into measurable results while scaling with rigor.

Responsibilities

• Drive Commercial Priorities: Partner with the CBO on partnership and supply strategy; lead special projects bridging teams (e.g., RevOps, Finance), including complex deal structuring and economics.
• Build the Cross-Functional Bridge: Identify where Finance, Legal, or Product support is needed to improve deal velocity and operational efficiency.
• Be the Flywheel of Accountability: Act as the hub between the CBO and leadership team to cascade strategic decisions, close communication gaps, and ensure commitments are met as the company scales.
• Prep for High-Stakes Moments: Create sharp, data-backed materials for board meetings, investor updates, and partner reviews; run commercial architecture deep-dives and deliver recommendations.
• Extend the CBO’s Reach: Serve as a trusted proxy in priority meetings; independently advance initiatives and own the research and prep for ELT discussions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in high-growth tech, strategy consulting, or fast-paced commercial operations.
• Strong fintech, travel-tech, or B2B SaaS background is a plus.
• High EQ / low ego with strong stakeholder management and humility.
• Ability to communicate complex commercial/legal topics clearly.
• Comfortable both in the details (project tracking, dashboards, quota configuration) and at the strategic level.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in complex deal structuring and economics.
• Background connected to corporate travel, charge cards, or modern spend management.

Compensation

Competitive base salary with potential equity and/or variable pay (OTE); exact compensation shared by the recruiter.
