About the role
Role overview
The Chief of Staff / Operating Partner role sits in the CEO Office at Stableton. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will turn strategy into execution by partnering closely with the CEO, CFO, and executive leadership to tackle high-priority, hardest-to-overcome business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Strategic initiative leadership
- Drive execution of the CEO’s top-priority initiatives with clear accountability and measurable impact
- Own multiple high-stakes projects and deliver business value by creating, optimizing, and maintaining processes and products
- Identify new growth and revenue opportunities across existing and adjacent markets, building business cases and leading initiatives (e.g., product launches, market expansion, operational transformation)
- Support the design of new investment products, owning project leadership and execution across internal and external stakeholders
- M&A, business development & partnerships
- Support M&A from target identification through due diligence, deal execution, and post-merger integration
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnerships and commercial relationships
- Operational excellence & executive support
- Build and optimize scalable processes to support rapid growth and resolve roadblocks quickly
- Develop compelling narratives for internal/external stakeholders, including board materials, investor presentations, and executive communications
- Act as a trusted advisor to elevate operational and strategic insights
- Coordinate across CEO, CFO, structuring, investment, investment operations, tech, and sales teams to align and streamline decision-making
Requirements
- 4+ years at a top-tier investment bank, management consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey/Bain/BCG), private equity fund, or comparable elite institution
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear narratives for C-suite and board audiences
- Proven strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration; ability to drive initiatives in fast-paced environments
