About the role

Role Overview

The Chief of Staff is a high-impact, high-trust partner to the CEO—acting as a strategic advisor, operational architect, and thought partner. The role ensures the CEO’s time and the company’s organizational priorities stay tightly aligned across strategy, execution, and leadership.

Responsibilities

Identify gaps between strategy and execution, develop structured recommendations, and track follow-through
Lead or co-lead special projects for the CEO, navigating ambiguity and tight timelines
Serve as a sounding board / sparring partner for strategic decisions and emerging opportunities
Synthesize complex information into decision-ready memos, presentations, and frameworks for quick CEO action
Manage the CEO’s operating rhythm (weekly priorities, strategic reviews, OKR/KPI cadence)
Own cross-functional project management for initiatives spanning multiple departments
Design and improve internal processes to increase organizational velocity and scalability
Prepare and facilitate leadership team meetings and ensure accountability on follow-ups
Partner with the CEO to prepare board meeting materials (board decks, committee updates, analyses)
Manage board member communications and between-meeting logistics
Draft CEO communications (e.g., Town Hall messaging, internal announcements, strategic memos, board correspondence)
Build and maintain relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders as a trusted extension of the CEO

Requirements

5+ years professional experience, including 2+ years in management consulting (MBB or similar) or investment banking/private equity
Bachelor’s degree from a highly selective institution; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
Proven ability to drive complex, ambiguous projects to completion with measurable outcomes
Exceptional written and verbal communication for executive audiences
Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling, data synthesis, and strategic insight
High emotional intelligence and discretion navigating senior stakeholders
