Chief of Staff

Role Overview

The Chief of Staff is a high-trust, high-leverage strategic and execution partner to the Chief People and Administration Officer, the CEO, and the executive leadership team. This role helps Huntress translate executive priorities into coordinated action by running the executive operating system and strengthening clarity, accountability, and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the People & Administration Officer, CEO, and executive leadership, providing analysis, business judgment, and direct perspective.
• Own the Board operating cadence end-to-end:
  • manage timelines
  • drive stakeholder follow-through
  • package final materials
  • ensure secure, accurate delivery of board materials and pre-reads
• Coordinate Board material preparation by consolidating inputs, shaping executive narratives, and pressure-testing for quality and consistency so materials are decision-ready.
• Run the executive operating system, including initiative accountability, leadership follow-through, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and annual planning.
• Drive strategic alignment across departments by connecting priorities, surfacing tradeoffs, and ensuring leaders focus on the outcomes that matter most.
• Identify decision opportunities early, gather the right information and stakeholders, frame options, and help executives move from context to decision with speed and clarity.
• Lead and support high-priority cross-functional work that may not fit neatly within a single function, adjusting between strategic thinking and tactical execution when needed.

Compensation

• $200,000 to $275,000 base
• Bonus and equity included
