Chief of Staff

Role Overview

BJAK is hiring a Chief of Staff to drive AI Neobank expansion across products, markets, and teams. This is a senior execution role focused on translating strategy into measurable progress through leadership alignment, operating cadence, and cross-functional problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic execution across AI Neobank priorities.
• Build and manage the company’s operating rhythm: OKRs, leadership updates, decision tracking, and accountability.
• Coordinate major workstreams across product, engineering, licensing, market expansion, partnerships, finance, and operations.
• Prepare concise decision memos, board/leadership materials, execution plans, and performance reviews.
• Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies early to prevent blockers.
• Help leadership make sharper trade-offs across people, capital, product, and market priorities.
• Own special projects requiring senior judgment and cross-functional authority.

Requirements

• Strong operator with experience driving strategic execution across teams.
• Excellent judgment, communication, prioritization, and follow-through.
• Able to work effectively with founders/CEOs/leadership and senior external stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity with limited guidance.
• Can translate high-level strategy into detailed execution without losing quality.
• Strong writing, business analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in startups, consulting, strategy/operations, fintech/financial services, or regional expansion.

What This Role Is Not

• Not suitable for candidates seeking a purely advisory role.
• Not for people who avoid operational details, add bureaucracy without improving execution, or can’t handle pressure and senior accountability.

Location / Work Model

• Remote, but must be based in the United States.
• Strong English communication required.
