Role Overview
Oak Tree Software is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Advisor for a 3-month engagement (with possible extension). The role is 100% remote (United States) and focuses on answering both general and complex accounting/finance questions, leveraging strong analytical and advisory skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data and provide accounting guidance
- Handle complex accounting, bookkeeping, and finance-related inquiries
- Provide advisory-based recommendations using financial data
Requirements
- Active user of QuickBooks Online (QBO) or experience with Omni Chat
- 5+ years experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, financial consulting, or related fields
- Experience in roles such as CFO Advisor, Controller, Finance Manager, or Financial Consultant
- Strong expertise in accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and financial statement analysis
- Experience handling complex accounting/finance queries
- Experience supporting/advising SMB clients or business owners on accounting and financial matters
Nice to Have
- SMB ownership or hands-on financial management experience
