Role overview

Join Akasa Air as Cabin Crew. You will deliver excellent customer service while ensuring safety, security, and comfort throughout the flight.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow and stay compliant with DGCA/government and company standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rules, regulations, safety/service circulars, and operational notices.
  • Follow grooming and uniform/turn-out standards and represent Akasa Air professionally on duty and layovers.
  • Ensure mandatory regulatory trainings and required documents are valid, issued timely, renewed/extended.
  • Deliver inflight service and perform inflight sales to increase ancillary revenue.
  • Maintain high standards of service delivery, presentation, and customer care.
  • Provide special attention and support for customers with reduced mobility, elderly, unaccompanied minors, and mothers with infants/children.
  • Execute proper galley handover and ensure sales stock, pre-booked meals, and catering uplifts match documents.
  • Maintain positive public relations and act as a brand ambassador.
  • Ensure on-time performance and maintain discipline; strictly adhere to the cabin crew code of conduct.
  • Monitor the cabin continuously and handle issues by reporting non-compliances/discrepancies/defects to the Inflight Manager.
  • Make relevant announcements as defined in the announcement book (where approved).
  • Complete pre-flight and post-flight duties.
  • Safeguard/return company equipment and unused catering supplies; maintain cabin, lavatories, and galley cleanliness.
  • Recommend improvements to service delivery/design, and help reduce waste via feedback.
  • Practice effective CRM with cockpit crew and other departments (airport services, catering, security).
  • Assist colleagues and contribute to process improvement and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Indian nationals with a valid passport, PAN card, and Aadhaar card.
  • Age:
    • Freshers (no past flying experience): 18–28 years
    • Experienced crew: up to 35 years
  • Height: Female min 155 cm; Male min 167.5 cm (weight proportionate).
  • Education: 10+2 (Class 12); fluent in English and Hindi.
  • Medical fitness as per DGCA.
  • BMI: Female 18–23; Male 18–25.
  • No visible tattoos/marks.
  • Able to travel, work long hours, and work shifts.

Location

  • Transferable to any operational crew base.
  • Virtual interviews for candidates across PAN India.
