Business Transformation Lead

Role Overview

As Business Transformation Lead, you will be the architect and driver of embedding AI into how every team at Expion Health works. This is not a slide-deck strategy role—you will partner directly with department leaders, identify real workflow opportunities, and translate them into practical solutions while building internal capability so the transformation sticks.

What You’ll Own

Drive Transformation (65%)

• Own the AI transformation roadmap end-to-end (strategy to execution) and keep it moving in a fast-paced environment
• Run discovery sessions with leaders across Sales, Client Management, Clinical, Finance, Operations, IT, and Trade to surface high-impact AI opportunities
• Lead the AI Champions program (recruiting, training, and developing a network of AI advocates)
• Build and deliver role-based AI learning pathways tailored to each department
• Partner with executive leadership to ensure AI initiatives are prioritized, resourced, and tied to business outcomes
• Coordinate with IT and AI Solutions Builders on initiatives that expand beyond departmental scope into broader technical implementations
• Track and communicate progress against transformation milestones

Build Capability & Culture (20%)

• Champion a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement around AI
• Develop internal AI literacy programs and learning resources for people at all technical levels
• Stay current on the AI landscape (tools, techniques, best practices) and bring insights back to the organization
• Help define and maintain the AI Use Policy and governance framework in partnership with Legal and IT

Align & Influence (15%)

• Advise executive leadership on AI transformation strategy, priorities, and investment decisions
• Build cross-functional relationships to make change feel collaborative
• Represent the AI transformation initiative at company-wide events (e.g., Town Halls, monthly Spark sessions)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business transformation, change management, operations leadership, or strategic consulting
• Demonstrated, hands-on experience applying AI in real workflows
• Ability to work with department leaders to identify where AI can help (practical, not theoretical)
• Experience designing and facilitating training/capability-building for non-technical audiences
• Fluency with modern AI tools, including LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT), Microsoft Copilot, and no-code automation platforms
• Strong communicator with credibility to influence executive stakeholders and earn trust with frontline teams
• Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
