About the role
Role Overview
As a Business Solutions Architect at inriver, you will shape customer success by designing scalable end-to-end PIM solution architectures. You’ll partner with sales, product, and delivery teams to translate complex business needs into structured solutions that drive long-term platform value, including opportunities for AI and automation.
Key Missions / Responsibilities
- Trusted advisor to customers and partners on how to use PIM to achieve business outcomes.
- Lead the design of end-to-end PIM solutions, including:
- data models
- business processes
- integrations
- governance frameworks
- Support and guide implementation teams (Inriver and partners) to ensure:
- architectural integrity
- quality standards
- alignment with best practices
Requirements
- Collaborative mindset; ability to work across teams and partners.
- Confidence leading workshops, stakeholder discussions, and presentations.
- Experience with data modeling and mapping tools.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and modern architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, cloud).
- Deep knowledge of PIM, product data structures, taxonomy, and digital commerce workflows.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, scalable solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong solution architecture experience in SaaS environments.
Nice to Have
- Interest or experience applying AI/ML to data, automation, or personalization.
Location / Work Model
- Full remote (Chicago, US noted in posting).
