Business Operations Manager

Role Overview

As Business Operations Manager at YAZIO, you’ll improve how the company operates—from AI-powered automations to company-wide operational initiatives. You’ll turn complex problems into simple, scalable processes and drive measurable operational impact.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational projects from idea to implementation, including planning, stakeholder management, delivery, and post-project reviews.
• Identify inefficient workflows and redesign them using AI, automation, and smarter processes.
• Build and implement automation solutions that reduce manual work and improve team efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to roll out operational improvements and ensure lasting adoption.
• Own company-wide operational topics such as hardware, software licenses, tool access, subscriptions, insurance, and workplace resources.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and vendor documentation, supporting data privacy and legal requirements while mitigating operational risks.
• Develop scalable processes and operational infrastructure to support continued growth.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in Business Operations, Project Management, or a similar operational role (ideally in a tech startup/scale-up).
• Strong organization and project management skills; able to manage multiple initiatives and priorities.
• Hands-on experience improving business processes using AI and automation, with a track record of reducing manual work.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
• Comfort using AI assistants daily and a habit of finding ways to work smarter.
• Curiosity about legal/compliance, data protection, and operational topics; willingness to continuously learn.
• University degree in Business/Operations Management or related field.
• Fluency in English and German; strong written communication.

• Experience with operational infrastructure and compliance in fast-growing technology organizations.
