Role overview

Adelaide is looking for an entry-level Business Intelligence (Analytics) Engineer to help bridge data engineering and data analysis. The role works cross-functionally with Data teams, with an emphasis on supporting the Analytics team and its workflows.

What you’ll do

Build and maintain the semantic layer of the data pipeline
Develop, test, and maintain clean, consistent, reusable data models
Edit LookML and support semantic modeling
Manage a data catalog and keep data well-organized
Automate analytics workflows and improve data/analysis efficiency
Work with stakeholders to understand and support their data needs

Requirements

0–2 years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or a related field
Passion for building clean, reliable data systems
Ability to develop and test data models and support analytics workflows

Nice to have / tools you’ll work with

Familiarity with dbt for modular, scalable data models
Experience with Looker (LookML)
Interest in attention metrics and media quality measurement

Location / work setup

Fully remote within the United States
Required to be in NYC a few times per year to connect with colleagues

Compensation

$80,000–$100,000 base salary (plus performance-based bonus and equity). Final offer depends on experience, level, and location.
