Business Intelligence Analyst | Remote

Role Overview

Business Intelligence Analyst (Remote, Part-time) — flexible, self-paced schedule. Commission-based compensation is listed as $70–$120 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data science and analytics workflows to evaluate model performance.
• Build scenarios across SQL analysis, dashboards, experimentation, and business intelligence use cases.
• Develop and assess data pipelines, warehouse schemas, and orchestration workflows.
• Create and review data artifacts such as:
  • SQL queries
  • experiment readouts
  • dashboard specifications
• Evaluate outputs for analytical accuracy, reasoning quality, and execution across complex tasks.
• Communicate clearly using structured, step-by-step reasoning.

Requirements

• Strong experience in data science, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or data engineering.
• Strong experience with SQL and at least one of: Python, dbt, data warehousing, or pipeline orchestration tools.
• Strong experience in experimentation, metric modeling, and analytical problem-solving.
• Ability to produce and interpret artifacts such as queries, schemas, and dashboards.
• Clear written communication.
