Role Overview

Business Intelligence Consultant (Contract, Remote)

You will use advanced Excel to structure, analyze, and present data that supports AI model training. This is a part-time contract role (10–40 hours/week).

Responsibilities

• Leverage advanced Excel to structure, analyze, and present data for AI model training.
• Collaborate with the customer’s team to deliver business intelligence solutions.
• Prepare, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure data accuracy for AI systems.
• Develop and document BI workflows with clear written and verbal communication.
• Translate business questions into actionable data insights to improve models.
• Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Excel.

Requirements

• Strong experience in business intelligence or analytics, with a focus on Excel.
• Exceptional proficiency with advanced Excel features:
  • Power Query
  • PivotTables
  • VBA
  • Data modeling
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex insights to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently and remotely while managing time and deliverables.
• Solid understanding of business processes and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience cleaning/preparing/validating large datasets for analytics or AI training.
