Business Intelligence Analyst (Excel) | $50/hr Remote

Role Overview

Business Intelligence Consultant (Excel) — Contract, Remote (10–40 hrs/week). The consultant will use advanced Excel to structure, analyze, and present data to support AI model training and BI-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Use advanced Excel skills to structure, analyze, and present data for AI model training
• Collaborate with the customer’s team to deliver business intelligence solutions
• Prepare, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy for AI systems
• Develop and document BI workflows with clear written and verbal communication
• Translate business questions into actionable data insights to improve models
• Create detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Excel for AI training

Requirements

• Strong experience in business intelligence or analytics, with a focus on Excel
• Exceptional proficiency with advanced Excel features, including:
  • Power Query
  • PivotTables
  • VBA
  • Data modeling
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex insights to diverse audiences
• Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time and deliverables
• Solid understanding of business processes and translating requirements into technical solutions
• Experience cleaning and validating large datasets for analytics or AI training
