Business Intelligence Analyst

Role Overview

EquipmentShare is hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst to support analytics needs across the organization. This role is fully remote (Corporate Headquarters: Columbia, MO) and will work on projects spanning areas such as finance/collections and telematics/fleet data.

Responsibilities

• Become a technical data and reporting expert across multiple domains to refine and troubleshoot reporting requirements.
• Build complex queries and data models from reporting requirements with minimal errors.
• Produce and support dashboards and reports used across the company.
• Use analytical and development skills to ideate and solve business problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• 4+ years of SQL programming.
• 4+ years designing BI reports (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.
• Ability to independently tackle complex problems with an analytical mindset.
• Strong skills in data interpretation and extracting actionable insights.
• Must be qualified to work in the United States (no sponsorship).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of an analytical language such as Python or R.
