Business Intelligence Analyst - Analytics Engineer Hybrid (USA Remote)

Role Overview

Turnitin is hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst / Analytics Engineer (Hybrid, USA Remote) to bridge complex data infrastructure and actionable business strategy for Revenue Operations (RevOps). You will build production data models, orchestrate pipelines, and translate technical outputs into measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

• Data Modeling & Migration: Lead migration of legacy workflows from Alteryx to dbt, delivering high-quality, documented, and tested models as a single source of truth.
• Orchestration & Pipelines: Manage and monitor data pipelines using Dagster or Airflow to ensure reliability and performance in the Redshift warehouse.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Translation: Serve as the primary liaison between technical data structures and non-technical leaders; clearly communicate insights, ROI, and business impact.
• AI & Advanced Analytics: Explore and implement AI/LLM capabilities for improved data discovery and predictive analytics.
  • Collaborate with Product/Engineering to apply Machine Learning via Amazon SageMaker (e.g., churn prediction, lead scoring).
• RevOps Strategy Support: Provide Tableau visibility into KPIs supporting initiatives such as ABM (Account Based Marketing) and Customer Health scoring.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or a related data role.
• Strong dbt experience building and maintaining production-grade data models.
• Hands-on experience with Dagster or Airflow.
• Advanced SQL and experience with Amazon Redshift (or similar warehouse).
