Business Intelligence Analyst - Analytics Engineer Hybrid (USA Remote)

Role Overview

Turnitin is hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst / Analytics Engineer (Hybrid, USA Remote) to bridge complex data infrastructure with actionable RevOps strategy. You will support Revenue Operations leaders across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience while helping migrate workflows and advance analytics beyond standard reporting.

Responsibilities

• Data Modeling & Migration: Lead migration from Alteryx to dbt, delivering well-documented, high-quality, tested models as a single source of truth.
• Orchestration & Pipelines: Build, monitor, and maintain data pipelines using Dagster or Airflow for reliability and performance in the warehouse.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate technical outputs into clear insights for non-technical leaders, emphasizing ROI and business impact.
• AI & Advanced Analytics: Explore and implement AI/LLM capabilities; collaborate to apply Amazon SageMaker to use cases like churn prediction and lead scoring.
• RevOps Strategy Support: Provide visibility into key global KPIs and support initiatives such as Account Based Marketing (ABM) and Customer Health scoring using Tableau.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or a related analytics/data role.
• Production-grade dbt experience building and maintaining data models.
• Hands-on Dagster or Airflow experience.
• Advanced SQL.
• Experience with Amazon Redshift (posting text cuts off, but Redshift is explicitly required).

• Strong enthusiasm for LLMs/generative AI and predictive analytics.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to Sales/RevOps leaders and drive impact-focused insights.
