About the role

Role Overview

Business Development Associate for the North East region (Full Remote). You’ll help drive premium production by managing partners and supporting distribution efforts across established and newly onboarded accounts.

Key Missions

  • Support strategies to increase regional premium production by managing established and newly onboarded partners.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, marketing, and growth teams to develop and drive distribution and generate partner premium.
  • Maintain and improve business development processes, including portfolio management for emerging and lower-volume partners.
  • Establish, track, and report on KPIs; routinely meet or exceed goals.
  • Provide pipeline support and help improve business development process execution.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard and guide new customers/partners to realize and repeat value.
  • Coach partners through the sales funnel by reviewing individual submissions and collaborating on opportunities.
  • Manage high-volume, multi-channel partner outreach and run discovery meetings to secure next steps.
  • Move prospects efficiently from first touch to bind.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a fast-paced sales role.
  • Strong phone and video skills and the ability to stay professional under pressure.
  • Experience with disciplined execution of challenging opportunities to deliver results.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to discuss technical and business topics.
  • Experience with structured, high-volume outreach and repeatable sales cadences (calls, email, LinkedIn, and in-person).
  • Experience running effective discovery meetings and consistently securing next steps.
  • Experience moving prospects efficiently from first touch to bind.
  • Experience using Metabase or similar tools to pull, review, and analyze data.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in onboarding partners/customers and coaching through opportunity stages.
  • Deep familiarity with KPI tracking and continuous process improvement in business development.
