About the role

Role: Business Data Analyst

Join Motorola Solutions’ Customer Experience team to safeguard the user journey by finding friction early and partnering with Product, Quality, and Engineering to remove obstacles before they reach customers.

Responsibilities

Perform deep-dive analysis to generate insights that drive business decisions and performance.
Extract, analyze, and present data to both technical and non-technical business stakeholders.
Identify and implement opportunities to leverage LLMs and AI-driven workflows to solve business problems and improve operational efficiency.
Analyze and report on multiple data sources; ensure data quality and integrity.
Build, maintain, and automate business intelligence dashboards and self-serve reporting capabilities.
Help define the right metrics across teams and develop tracking frameworks.
Prioritize, deliver, and report on projects, trends, and requests; collaborate effectively across stakeholders.

Requirements

SQL (non-negotiable): strong expertise including data modeling, optimized query writing, complex query debugging, and advanced SQL (joins, window functions, stored procedures, aggregates) for large relational databases.
Python (2+ years): experience with data manipulation/cleaning (e.g., pandas), statistical analysis/modeling (e.g., numpy, scipy, scikit-learn), and report automation.
AI/Innovation: ability to rapidly deploy LLM solutions; strong foundational knowledge of Machine Learning concepts.
Data visualization: expert capability in Tableau to build interactive dashboards and reports.
Strong data storytelling and business acumen—turn insights into compelling narratives and recommended actions for non-technical stakeholders.
