About the role
Role: Business Analyst / QA Engineer
Own end-to-end quality assurance activities to ensure software releases meet business, operational, and integration requirements for a credential maintenance program.
Responsibilities
- Design, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases aligned to business requirements and release readiness.
- Lead UAT and regression testing cycles; capture results and document defects, risks, and release recommendations.
- Validate data accuracy and completeness during system integration and data migration efforts (including reconciliation and exception tracking).
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external software vendors to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and confirm fixes.
- Maintain action-item logs and drive issues through to closure with clear ownership.
- Create and maintain internal/external documentation, including process guides, training materials, and release notes.
- Update procedures to reflect system changes, operational updates, and quality improvements.
- Respond to user inquiries related to credential maintenance workflows and system behavior.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- 5+ years of experience creating test plans and executing UAT and regression testing.
- Experience in administrative/program coordination (workstream coordination, action-item tracking, documentation management).
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (plus document sharing/collaboration tools).
- Hands-on experience with system integration and data migration support, including data validation and reconciliation.
- Proven ability to design and execute test plans/test cases/UAT/regression tests prior to release.
- Strong written and verbal communication; provide stakeholder updates and coordinate across teams.
- Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple competing priorities; proactive and accountable.
Location / Scheduling
- 100% remote, but must live within the continental U.S.
- Time zone preference for Eastern and Central time zones.
