Brand Designer

Role overview

As a Brand Designer at Symbiotic, you will own and deliver the visual output that helps complex onchain financial infrastructure become clear, compelling, and shippable across channels.

Responsibilities

• Own visual output across brand, campaigns, web, social, and launch moments—from concept through shipped assets.
• Turn complex products into understandable visuals, translating financial/technical concepts for real audiences.
• Define and consistently apply the visual system as Symbiotic scales (not just a guideline document, but recognizable output across everything shipped).
• Create and support event and content collateral, including visuals for Web3 conferences, whitepaper illustrations, and blog graphics.
• Optimize assets for Web3 platforms, ensuring responsive designs for web3 wallets, mobile apps, and animated formats while following crypto-specific trends.
• Produce motion and 3D work when it adds value (e.g., product explainers, launch films, conference presence).

Requirements

• Strong execution across both speed and quality; able to explain your timeline and decision-making on portfolio pieces (including what you cut and why).
• Deep strength in brand and/or motion and/or 3D (you can also contribute competently outside your main area).
• Self-directed: scoped, sequenced, and delivered real projects without needing step-by-step guidance, especially when briefs are ambiguous.
• Comfortable with critique and transparent collaboration; you bring direction and can advocate for it.
• Portfolio evidence of shipped work, ideally taking projects from zero to live under time pressure.

Nice to have

• Crypto/fintech experience sufficient to avoid learning basics of protocols on the job.
• In-house experience at an early-stage company.
• Motion and/or 3D as a genuine strength (not just familiarity).
