Role Overview
The Strategic Process Architect (BPM Architect) designs and optimizes end-to-end business processes to enable scalable, efficient, and AI-ready operations. The role bridges strategy and execution by translating business objectives into streamlined workflows, automation opportunities, and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and map current-state processes across functions and systems, adjusting level of detail (value streams to task-level workflows) to match the audience and objective.
- Define and standardize process taxonomy, hierarchies, and naming conventions to ensure consistency and reusability.
- Apply Business Process Management (BPM) principles/frameworks to make processes structured, measurable, and scalable.
- Identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for simplification, standardization, and automation.
- Design future-state processes aligned to business strategy, operating models, and growth goals.
- Maintain the right abstraction level while knowing when to dive deeper to unblock teams or resolve ambiguity.
- Partner with business and technology teams to implement solutions and drive adoption.
- Define process metrics and KPIs, and establish continuous improvement mechanisms.
