About the role
Role Overview
DataAnnotation is hiring a Biology Research Scientist to help train and evaluate AI chatbots/models. You will apply expert-level biology knowledge to measure model progress, assess answers, and improve output quality.
Responsibilities
- Provide AI chatbots with complex biology questions
- Evaluate AI outputs for correctness and overall logic
- Assess model performance and identify issues to improve quality
Requirements
- Native or bilingual English fluency
- Detail-oriented approach
- Strong understanding of:
- Cell biology
- Genetics
- Biochemistry
- Experimental methods
- Master’s and/or PhD preferred (in progress or completed), preferably in biology/biochemistry-related fields
Compensation & Work Setup
- Remote (choose projects you want to work on)
- Work on your own schedule
- Paid hourly starting at $40+ USD/hour, with bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work
- Payment via PayPal
