About the role
Role Overview
Join DataAnnotation as a Biology Research Scientist to help train and evaluate AI chatbots. You’ll use expert knowledge in biology to assess model responses, identify issues, and contribute to improved AI quality.
Responsibilities
- Provide complex biology questions to AI chatbots
- Evaluate chatbot outputs for correctness and performance
- Analyze response logic and solve problems to improve model quality
- Assess AI-generated content for accuracy and quality
Requirements
- Native/bilingual fluency in English
- Highly detail-oriented work style
- Strong background in cell biology, genetics, biochemistry, and experimental methods
Nice to Have
- Master’s and/or PhD in Biology and/or Biochemistry (current, in progress, or completed preferred)
Contract & Logistics
- Remote: full-time or part-time; you can choose projects and work on your own schedule
- Compensation: paid hourly starting at $40+ USD/hour, with bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work
- Payment via PayPal; independent contract position
Location Constraint
- Only applicants in the United States will be considered
