Billing Analyst

Manage and execute timely, accurate customer billing in line with company policies and customer contracts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process invoices to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery for monthly billing across multiple billing models.
• Review and analyze customer accounts to confirm transactions are billed correctly and timely.
• Implement contract-driven billing changes, including adjustments, credits, rebills, and cancellations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support onboarding and billing for new customer agreements.
• Identify opportunities to automate billing processes and improve billing workflows.
• Document billing processes, SOPs, and changes to maintain accurate operational guides.
• Support financial reporting, monthly close, internal audits, and ad hoc data analysis.
• Assist with special billing projects and respond to internal/external billing inquiries.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, revenue operations, or a related operational finance role.
• Proven ability to handle high-volume workloads with speed and accuracy.
• Proficiency with enterprise billing or ERP systems; experience with BillingPlatform and/or Intacct strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a track record of identifying and resolving billing discrepancies.
• Clear, professional communication and comfort working cross-functionally.
• Process-oriented mindset with strong documentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience specifically within complex billing models such as subscription, transactional, time & materials (T&M), and tiered revenue.
