About the role

Role Overview

BI Data Analyst (remote, United States)

Transform complex data into actionable insights that support operational and financial decision-making. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable analytics and reporting solutions in a healthcare technology environment.

Accountabilities

  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and key business drivers.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, KPIs, metrics, and success criteria.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Support ETL processes and collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data pipelines.
  • Validate data accuracy via testing, reconciliation, and quality assurance across multiple systems.
  • Translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions and recommendations.
  • Ensure analytics outputs are reliable, user-friendly, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate across BI, IT, product development, and operations teams to continuously improve reporting.
  • Support analytics data governance and security best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong experience with SQL and data analysis processes.
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
  • Experience supporting ETL and data pipeline workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to communicate insights effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to Have

  • Healthcare data experience or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) exposure.
  • Power BI dashboard/report development experience.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms, data governance, and security practices.
  • Experience with Jira and/or GitHub or similar collaboration tools.
