Benefits Analyst

Role: Benefits Analyst

As a Benefits Analyst at Whatnot, you will administer employee benefits, manage leave programs, maintain benefits/payroll systems, and support employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Benefits administration: Administer medical, dental, vision, retirement, and supplemental benefits across 15+ vendors.
• Enrollment: Manage U.S. and international new hire enrollments.
• Leave management: Handle end-to-end leave administration globally, including:
  • FMLA
  • Parental leave
  • State-specific leaves
  • International leaves
• Systems & configuration: Maintain and troubleshoot Workday benefits configurations in partnership with the People Systems team.
• Payroll reconciliation: Perform payroll reconciliations related to leave, deductions, and fringe benefits.
• Employee support: Provide support and guidance to employees regarding benefits and leave.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in employee benefits administration.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. benefits compliance requirements.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience supporting international benefits/leave administration.
• Familiarity with Workday benefits configuration and benefits-related payroll reconciliation.
