About the role
Role Overview
You will work as a Banner Developer supporting and enhancing Ellucian Banner ERP applications in a long-term remote role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support Ellucian Banner ERP applications
- Build and work with Banner 9 Extensibility components
- Develop integrations using Banner APIs and Ethos APIs
- Create API-based integrations with Ethos Integration
- Use RESTful Web Services for application/service development
- Troubleshoot issues and perform analytical problem-solving
- Collaborate using source control (Git)
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing and supporting Ellucian Banner ERP applications
- Strong experience with Ellucian Banner 9 Extensibility
- Groovy scripting experience
- Proficiency in Java EE, RESTful Web Services, and application development frameworks
- Strong experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development
- Experience developing and consuming Banner APIs and Ethos APIs
- Hands-on experience with Ethos Integration and API-based integrations
- Experience with Git
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice-to-haves
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
