Role Overview

Seek a Banking Compliance Officer (Transportation, Banking & Payments regulatory compliance) to ensure adherence to financial and transport regulatory frameworks. You will align operations with local and international regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, including central banking guidelines and internal financial compliance procedures.
• Monitor and interpret payment systems regulations (e.g., ACH, electronic payments, and gateway frameworks).
• Oversee compliance for transportation licensing and municipal transport laws.
• Liaise with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders to maintain legal compliance.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures aligned to regulations.
• Stay current on evolving rules in both financial services and transportation.
• Provide compliance guidance and training to internal teams.

Required Expertise / Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of banking compliance regulations.
• Experience with payment systems and payment gateways.
• Familiarity with central banking regulations and ACH/electronic payment systems.
• Knowledge of transportation licensing frameworks and municipal transport regulations.
• Expertise in financial compliance procedures.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
• Relevant certifications in compliance/risk/financial regulations (preferred).
• Proven regulatory compliance experience across banking, payments, or transportation.

Preferred Background
