Bank Agile Product Owner Senior

Role Overview

Senior Bank Agile Product Owner responsible for driving agile delivery for core deposit and everyday banking platforms. You will connect business stakeholders, technology teams, and end users to ensure product direction meets regulatory requirements, customer needs, and enterprise banking objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the agile product backlog: grooming, prioritization, refinement, and alignment with business strategy and regulatory needs
• Define and communicate product vision, goals, and acceptance criteria with stakeholders and agile team leads
• Act as the “voice of the customer” by incorporating user feedback to improve banking products and digital experiences
• Translate business strategy into epics, user stories, and delivery plans with cross-functional leaders
• Drive delivery against Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and ensure alignment with product performance and banking priorities
• Use data analysis to support decision-making, risk management, and continuous improvement
• Facilitate collaboration across agile teams by removing blockers, resolving dependencies, and optimizing value delivery flow
• Support regulatory/operational initiatives (e.g., deposit servicing, compliance requirements, banking system enhancements)
• Improve agile maturity and influence key banking product decisions across the ecosystem

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years in banking, deposit products, debit card processing, or related financial services operations
• Strong understanding of banking systems, including core deposit platforms and processing environments (e.g., Fidelity/host systems)
• Experience in Agile as a Product Owner or similar (e.g., Business Analyst)
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance frameworks
• Proven ability to manage backlogs, write user stories, and define clear acceptance criteria
• Strong analytical skills with experience tracking OKRs/performance metrics
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and executive audiences
