Role overview

Join BlueVoyant as a Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Azure SaaS applications and Azure Function Apps. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, research emerging technologies, and ensure application performance and quality.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Azure SaaS applications and Function Apps
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Research emerging/upcoming technologies and apply them to product needs
Rapidly prototype solutions to validate concepts
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments

Requirements

5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and deploying production cloud applications
Strong expertise in C# and .NET
Experience with Azure SaaS and Azure Functions/Function App development
Experience with Cosmos DB, Gremlin, and T-SQL
Ability to build secure, scalable REST APIs and integrate with third-party services
Experience with distributed, event-driven, or microservices architectures
Strong experience building cloud-native apps on Microsoft Azure (PaaS/serverless)
Ability to work independently, research emerging technologies, and adapt to changing requirements
Experience operating in regulated/security-sensitive environments
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools

Nice-to-haves

Experience architecting/contributing to multi-tenant SaaS platforms
Experience with Azure AI services and OpenAI integration (or other cloud AI tooling)
Experience in an R&D-focused or fast-paced environment
