Role Overview

Backend Software Engineer working on mission-critical, high-volume retail e-commerce and enterprise platform backend services.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
Implement features, enhancements, and defect fixes in distributed backend applications
Build and maintain automated unit and integration tests
Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
Investigate and troubleshoot production issues related to application behavior and data processing
Contribute to reliability, scalability, and performance of backend services

Requirements

5+ years of professional backend development experience with Java
Strong experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot
Experience building/supporting distributed or event-driven applications, including Kafka
Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services
Strong automated testing experience (unit and integration, e.g., JUnit)
Experience with relational databases and SQL, including schema changes/data migrations
