About the role

Backend Software Engineer

Contribute to mission-critical backend services for a large-scale e-commerce and enterprise technology platform.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
Implement new features, enhancements, and defect fixes in distributed backend applications
Build and maintain automated unit and integration tests
Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
Investigate and troubleshoot production issues related to application behavior and data processing
Improve reliability, scalability, and performance of backend services

Requirements

5+ years of professional backend development experience in Java
Strong experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot
Experience with distributed or event-driven applications, including Kafka
Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services
Strong automated testing skills (e.g., JUnit; unit + integration testing)
Experience with relational databases and SQL, including schema changes or data migrations
