Role Overview

Backend Software Engineer (AI model training)

You will help train AI chatbots by creating and evaluating coding challenges and measuring improvements to model quality.

Responsibilities

Provide AI chatbots with coding challenges and evaluate their outputs
Assess AI-generated responses for correctness and performance
Solve coding problems and explain how your solutions work
Contribute to improving the quality of AI models over time

Requirements

Proficiency in at least one of: Python and/or JavaScript
Strong ability to solve coding problems (e.g., LeetCode, HackerRank-style)
Ability to explain how solutions solve the problem
Detail-oriented approach
Experience with algorithms, data structures, and debugging workflows
Fluency in English (native or bilingual)

Nice to Have

Bachelor’s degree (current/in progress/completed)

Work Details

Remote; full-time or part-time
Independent contract position
Choose which projects to work on and work on your own schedule
Paid hourly up to $60 USD/hour, with bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work
