About the role
Backend Software Engineer (Remote)
Antaris is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to architect, design, and build new features for its enterprise backend.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to backend engineering processes, tooling, standards, and scalability/performance optimization
- Architect, design, and implement new enterprise software features end-to-end
- Drive API design and implementation using Protobuf and OpenAPI
- Improve products through code reviews, refactoring, and performance optimization
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies/frameworks/libraries to expand the team’s solutions
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to manage execution expectations
Required Skills
- 5+ years of industry experience building/supporting large-scale production systems
- BS/MS in Computer Science (or related field)
- Strong background in Golang and Python
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker, including interfacing via software APIs
- Familiarity with the Unix ecosystem (e.g., Git, Bash)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility or prior experience on government-related projects
- Experience with satellite systems and simulations

- Remote in the US
