Role overview

Alignerr is hiring a Backend Python Developer for an hourly remote contract. The work involves reviewing AI-generated Python code and building backend algorithmic and data processing solutions, with training and guidance provided.

Responsibilities

Review and evaluate AI-generated Python code for:
- correctness
- efficiency
- adherence to PEP 8
Develop complex backend algorithmic solutions and data processing scripts
Provide clear, human-readable explanations of backend logic and architectural decisions
Identify and flag edge cases and potential security vulnerabilities in AI-generated API logic

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or better) in Computer Science or a related technical field
Deep expertise in Python, including modern frameworks:
- Django, Flask, FastAPI
- advanced Python language features
3–5+ years of professional experience with production-level Python
Exceptional written communication skills

Nice to have

Experience with data annotation, RLHF, or evaluation systems
