Role Overview
Backend Engineer (Talent Network) — Remote, ~15–30 hours/week. Contribute to training and evaluation of AI models through real-world backend engineering tasks, delivering domain-specific feedback to improve system performance.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to training and evaluating AI models using backend engineering expertise
- Create tasks and deliverables based on realistic backend scenarios
- Provide domain-specific feedback to improve AI system performance
- Work on projects involving:
- APIs
- Microservices
- Databases
- Distributed systems
- Collaborate across multiple projects with varying scope and duration
Requirements
- Strong experience in API development and microservices architecture
- Strong experience in database architecture and optimization
- Strong experience in distributed systems and backend infrastructure
- Clear communication skills; able to explain technical concepts
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote environment
