Backend Engineer (Go)

Role Overview

Backend Engineer (Go) to help build and operate services for a workflow orchestration/data synchronization platform in the wealth/FinTech space. The role is primarily backend, with occasional lightweight frontend work for internal tools.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services and APIs using Go (Golang)
• Develop integrations with external financial platforms and third-party APIs
• Design backend data models and maintain database systems
• Help build reliable systems for workflow automation and data synchronization
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers across the stack to ship product features

Requirements

• 4–6 years of backend engineering experience building production systems
• Hands-on experience with Golang
• Strong API development and database design fundamentals
• Strong SQL fundamentals
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs/external systems
• Startup-minded, high-ownership environment

Bonus / Nice to Have

• Experience with FinTech platforms
• Integration-heavy products

• Fully remote
