About the role

Role: Backend Engineer

You will help build and optimize backend services and infrastructure for a cybersecurity/compliance platform.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Go.
Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and high-volume queries.
Build reliable orchestration and integration layers across internal and third-party systems.
Implement metrics, distributed tracing, and observability across services.
Collaborate with engineering to improve Developer Experience (DX).
Apply security best practices.
Work cross-functionally with frontend/fullstack teams.

Requirements

2–4 years of experience with Go and designing REST APIs.
Experience writing optimized PostgreSQL queries.
Ability to build reliable integrations with third-party APIs/services.
Startup mindset: scrappy, pragmatic, comfortable adapting to shifting priorities.
Familiar with operating in a fast-moving engineering environment.
Excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

gRPC (or similar tools).
TypeScript.
Workflow engines or queue-based job orchestration.
Experience in the information security field.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science (or related).
